The excellence of pharmaceutical technologies on show at BolognaFiere with Pharmintech 2007
Pharmintech 2007, a specialized, highly technological exhibition for the pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical industry, opens at BolognaFiere.
For three days, from Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th June, the show will occupy the whole of the most prestigious hall at BolognaFiere, hall 36, covering 7,000 sqm net and accommodating 263 exhibitors, 30% of which from 13 countries outside from Italy.
Pharmintech is a show with a unique formula in the European panorama, catering for the needs of the entire pharmaceutical sector with its technological and industrial content and the presence of the most important international leaders. It is characterised by an international approach, due also to the presence of market players, trade journalists and opinion leaders from all over the world eagerly awaited in Bologna to assess and comment on the new products developed by the Italian packaging industry. This highly developed sector reaches its internationally competitive peak with pharmaceutical packaging.
Pharmintech represents the state-of-the art in terms of technologies and services for the entire industrial sector, throughout the whole manufacturing process of pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical products, and as regards infrastructures, plants, logistics, packaging materials and containers, ancillary equipment.
The wide-ranging international promotion carried out by Ipack-Ima Spa, organizer of the event, will attract buyers and pharmaceutical experts to Pharmintech. As a result of the understandings reached with ICE (Italian Trade Commission) and UCIMA (Italian Association of Automatic Packing and Packaging Machinery Manufacturers), under the sector agreement signed with the Ministry for International Trade, delegations of market players are expected from Argentina, Brazil, India, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia and Hungary. In addition, there will be the delegation from China coordinated by the CPPA - China Pharmaceutical Packaging Association - and a particularly prestigious group of trade journalists and opinion leaders from France, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, India, Russia and the United States. International trade press is also a significant presence as exhibitor: the most prestigious trade publications will have a booth, in addition to 29 publications from 12 countries which will be on display at the International Trade Press Booth.
Pharmintech 2007 is chaired by a leading figure in the Italian pharmaceutical industry, the chairman of Farmindustria Sergio Dompé, is promoted by Ucima and can count on the support of the most representative industrial and professional institutions and associations in the pharmaceutical world: ISPE Italy Affiliate, ADF (Pharmaceutical Distributors- Association), AFI (Industrial Pharmaceutical Professionals- Association), AFTI (Ticino Pharmaceuticals Association), ANIPLA (Italian Automation Association), ASIS (Health Industry Studies Association), Farmindustria (the Italian Association of Drug Companies), GISI (Italian Instrumentation Companies Association) and PDA - Italy Chapter (Parenteral Drug Association).
Following a tradition that is particularly appreciated in the pharmaceutical sector, the show offers a programme of high level meetings. The events- agenda includes the international convention organised by ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) and PDA Italy Chapter scheduled for the opening day, with the participation of leading international exponents of pharmaceutical engineering, the first of a series of events developed with associations and organisations representing reference points in their respective areas of activity.
