The international promotional plan for Pharmintech 2007 aims at new Mediterranean markets, the East and Latin America.

ADF, the Pharmaceutical Distributors' Association, has granted its prestigious support to the reference exhibition for the pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical industry, scheduled from June 12th to 14th in Bologna.

A conspicuous promotional plan and the newly acquired patronage from prestigious organizations have consolidated the role of Pharmintech 2007 as the reference high-specialization European exhibition in the pharmaceutical industry for next year.

Ipack-Ima SpA, organizer of the event scheduled from June 12th to 14th at Bologna Fiere, is promoting actions aimed at reaching the most important buyers of the pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical industry. On one hand, the objective is the fidelization of visitors and the enhancement of their image and presence on markets that have made the 2004 edition of Pharmintech a real success: Italy, the European countries and the positive feedback coming from the USA. On the other hand, specific promotional activities concern geographic areas in which the pharmaceutical industry is undergoing great developments: the Eastern European countries, the Mediterranean basin and Latin America.

The plan includes a wide variety of actions, such as the presence of institutional stands at trade exhibitions and specific presentations of Pharmintech to trade press: this took place, for example, last spring at Achema in Frankfurt and subsequently in June at Expopack, Mexico. The program includes similar actions in 20 different exhibitions all over the world, from China Pharm in Beijing to events scheduled in Europe and the USA.

The advertising campaign was launched last May and targets 200.000 potential buyers through international trade literature. A specific action on new markets directly reaches over 4.000 buyers through institutional and autonomous delegations, roadshows and direct marketing. The international advertising program for Pharmintech is supported by the Italian Trade Institute and is part of the trade agreement between Ipack-Ima SpA together with Ucima - the Italian Association of Automatic Packing and Packaging Machinery Manufacturers - and the Ministry of International Trade.

Pharmintech already enjoys great visibility to international key market players, even though this is only the second edition. The presidency is entrusted to Farmindustria's number one, Sergio Dompé, and the promoters' list (available on www.pharmintech.it) counts more and more prestigious names: the most recent addition is ADF, the National Association of Pharmaceutical Distributors.

This authoritative match strengthens Pharmintech's image as a specialized, all-comprehensive and highly technological event that fulfills the need for update and discussion of the whole pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical industry. The products on display will range from raw materials and active ingredients, to processing and packaging machinery, infrastructures, facilities, logistics, packaging materials, containers and services.
